Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Spokesperson Monica Hudon says a man is in life threatening, critical condition after an officer discharged their weapon against the man once after police were called to a residence on Buchanan Drive in Markham, Ont. around 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, finding the man stabbing a woman with a knife inside the unit.
